Key Aspects of a Certified Translation

A certified translation is a translation of documents which includes an officially signed, stamped, and dated statement of truth from a professional translator or a representative of a registered translation agency.

A certified translation is typically required for official or legal purposes, such as visa applications, legal proceedings, or academic applications.

In the United Kingdom, this certification is most often required for personal documents, such as birth certificates, academic transcripts, and marriage or divorce certificates, as well as business-related documents, including contracts.
